Corporate Social Responsibility
Lorica’s standards across manufacturing, sourcing, worker welfare, environment, and governance.
Lorica develops and manages uniform programs for brands that hold presentation, service, and client experience to a demanding standard. The same standard applies to how the work is made. This framework sets out the commitments Lorica holds itself and its manufacturing and textile partners to, across every program it manages. It is reviewed annually with independent partners and updated as programs evolve.
Scope
This framework applies to every Lorica-managed program: garment manufacturing with partner facilities across Asia and Europe, textiles sourced from mills across Europe, Japan, and China, and the logistics and program services that surround them. Engagement of any facility on a Lorica program carries acceptance of these standards, alongside the certifications required by the brands Lorica serves.
Manufacturing & Sourcing
Lorica works directly with long-established manufacturing partners: no undisclosed subcontracting, no untracked sourcing layer. Production is overseen from first sample to final delivery, with quality standards managed at source and facilities visited in person. Partner facilities are assessed against Lorica’s own standards before engagement and re-assessed through the life of the relationship. Where a facility cannot meet the standard, Lorica works with the partner toward remediation; where remediation fails, the relationship ends.
Labor & Worker Welfare
Every facility engaged on a Lorica program is expected to provide lawful wages and working hours, a safe and sanitary working environment, and employment that is freely chosen. Child labor, forced labor, and harassment or discrimination in any form are grounds for immediate termination of the relationship. Workers must be free to raise concerns without retaliation, and grievance channels are expected to be available at facility level. These expectations sit alongside, never beneath, the audit and certification requirements of the brands Lorica serves.
Environment
Textiles are selected for performance, longevity, and suitability to each program. Garments made to last are the foundation of responsible uniform supply. Certified lower-impact materials, including RWS-certified wool and recycled fibers under recognized standards such as the Global Recycled Standard, are offered where available and appropriate to the program. Lorica expects partners to manage dyes and chemicals responsibly, to comply with local environmental regulation as a minimum, and to work toward reduced water and energy intensity. Considered allocation, accurate sizing, and planned replenishment are themselves environmental instruments: fewer remakes, fewer returns, less waste.
Governance
Lorica conducts business without bribery, facilitation payments, or improper inducements, and expects the same of its partners. Client information, including employee sizing records and program data held in Lorica.ONE, is handled under role-based, access-controlled systems and used only for the operation of the program it belongs to. Documentation supporting this framework, including facility standards and material certifications relevant to a client’s program, is maintained and available to clients on request.
Review
This framework is reviewed annually with independent partners. Standards are strengthened as programs, materials, and regulation evolve; they are not relaxed.
