Barangaroo, Sydney · 2017–Present

Lorica has run the uniform program at International Towers, Barangaroo, since 2017, making it Lorica's longest-standing client relationship. The program spans two of the precinct's three towers.
A precinct built to higher standards
International Towers is part of Barangaroo South, Australia's first carbon-neutral precinct.
Barangaroo South is rated 6 Star Green Star Communities at world leadership level. The towers are certified carbon neutral and were the first anywhere to record a perfect GRESB resilience score. Around 23,000 people work in the buildings.
That standard set the bar for the uniform program. Fabric sourcing, manufacture, and supply documentation all had to stand up to procurement and responsible supply review.

Traceability as the entry point
International Towers required a uniform partner that could meet those procurement and responsible supply standards before the program reached production.
The program required documentation across each stage of manufacture, from fabric sourcing through production. Certified fabrics, ethical manufacturing, and clear records had to sit behind the finished garments.
That requirement ruled out some of Australia's leading apparel brands. Lorica was appointed because it could document how the program would be made, as well as how it would look.

Creative direction for the corporate lobby
The creative direction began in the lobbies, where concierge teams are the first people corporate tenants' clients and visitors meet. The uniform had to feel correct in that environment. It needed to be measured and precise, appropriate for a sharply dressed clientele without moving into hospitality or retail.
Design and fabrics have always been curated specifically for International Towers, giving the program distinction while keeping it within a conservative corporate register.

One building, several departments
Lorica translated the program across concierge, operations, internal office and accounts, and security teams.
Each department works at a different distance from the visitor. Concierge teams meet clients and visitors directly, while operations, office, accounts, and security teams support the building in different ways, with different levels of visibility and function.
Each team was dressed for its role, individually fitted, and held within one building-wide uniform standard.
Still held to standard since 2017
The program has been updated over the years, with International Towers involved at every stage of creative development.
Nine years on, the program continues to the standard under which Lorica was appointed.
